Located in the quiet and peaceful South Somerset village of South Petherton, just a stones throw from the A303, therefore easy to find, this B&B offers an opportunity to relax and enjoy the wonderful countryside with its beautiful walks and cycle paths.
This recently refurbished house provides three double bedrooms all with modern en-suite bath/shower rooms.
Breakfast is served in the guest dining room offering fresh locally sourced and organically grown produce, overlooking the garden recently planted with a selection of fruit trees.
The light and elegant guest lounge offers a large selection of reading material as well as DVDs. The log fire gives a warm atmosphere in the cold winter months.
There is a large car park on the property offering safe off-road parking.
The Square House B&B has been open for a year and has welcomed some very interesting and friendly guests over that time. All the teething problems have been overcome with the exception of the garden. The weather was so bad during the first year, it was very difficult to spend time out there. With hope, this will be attended to this year and look a little more like a proper garden soon.
